OGV Taproom has been developed by the team at OGV Energy, a well-established media group within the energy industry. Through the growth and development of OGV Energy, Director and staff members are lucky enough to travel to many different locations for industry events and brand development. It was on our travels we discovered a variety of craft beers and breweries across the world, sparking a desire to create our own brand back home, in Aberdeen.

Keg at OGV Taproom. Pours clear yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of grassy hop and light malt. Taste has a bit of lemon. Glad of the new brewery tick, but nothing speacial.

Draft, half pint. @OGV Taproom, Aberdeen (Scotland). 01/08/2023 [#6.635 Global - #176 Scotland - #2 OGV Taproom] Pours pale golden with a lasting medium white head. Aroma: floral hops, cereal and straw. Tsste: soft lemony, straw and wheaty. Fresh and floral mouthfeel. Clean. Next one please!

Draft, half pint. @OGV Taproom, Aberdeen (Scotland). 01/08/2023 [#6.634 Global - #175 Scotland - #1 OGV Taproom (My Scottish brewery #56)] Pours clear golden with a lasting white head. Aroma: herbal hops, earthy and fresh cereal. Taste: floral and earthy hops. Bitter mouthfeel. Clean finish. Very good. Next one please!

Keg at OGV Taproom. It pours crystal clear pale yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, doughy white bread, cracker, biscuit and some straw. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, quite light, snappy, crackery, white bread, airy malt and just a touch of grass with a dry finish. Light body and moderate- high fluffy carbonation. Easy going, light and drinkable, if a bit forgettable.

Keg at OGV Taproom. It pours clear golden with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fairly mellow, sweet, biscuity malt, fruity, candied lemon, citrus peel and splash of lemonade . The taste is dry, touch of bitterness, pithy, zesty, lemony citrus, grapefruit, touch floral and a pretty clean malt base with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Simple, clean and chuggable. Could of hit this a bit more hops, but it drinks fine.

Keg at OGV. It pours darkest brown with a small frothy light tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, big hit of dark roast coffee, cacao, dark chocolate, nutty, praline and a touch of nougat. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy roasted malt, spicy, nutty, toothy, plenty of coffee, dark chocolate, woody and some praline with a drying, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Works pretty well. Firmly dry and roasty. Decent.
