6-3-7-3-14 Can, B106, twelve months before bbd. Pours hazy orange golden, with a big creamy head. Aroma is sweetish notes of rye and pilsner malts with bread and caramel, as well as herbal hops with grass. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is malts with bread, caramel and rustic notes of hay and rye, as well as zesty hops with herbal notes and citrus.

pretty nice nutty malty aroma with sweet flowery frutiy notes that are almost perfumey, but not quite, so leads me to think belgian beer. flavor is very bitter, nutty herbal tea like bitterness rather than hoppy bitterness. Same kind of herbal bitterness you might find in english beer, esp. english bitter.

ABV: 4.3%. Clear dark brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, woody, roasted - coffee, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220108]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Huge creamy head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a roasty and light watery finish.
