Description
Uhl’s Brewing Co. focuses on abundantly hopped ales, thick and roasty stouts, some barrel-aged varietals and heavily fruited ales. There will surely be a few surprises along the way with recipes that will span from one end of the spectrum to the other. Ales made with the willingness to explore new boundaries and even push through some old ones. We will continue along this path bringing back crowd favorites when we can, but our goal will be to try and expose your taste buds to as many flavors as we can. One craft, one batch at a time.

From Beer Drop. No dating on the can.

Pours a hazy pale gold with a good but short lived head of foam.

It smells of grapefruit citrus and pine, dry, peppery.

The taste is a typical Hazy IPA. Hoppy with pine and grapefruit citrus, slightly more bitter than the average of the style, little bit spicy, hoppy finish, subdued malt presence.

Good mouthfeel.

Meh overall.

Caramel brown with a large head. Sweet with honey, maple, caramel, molasses, pumpkin, vague spices, a sharp alcohol presence and light fruit. Long finish. Moderately full bodied

16 oz. can, thanks to Ben! Pours an unclear, red color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is distinct blueberries, light vanilla, lime juice, and some earth and cinnamon. Sweet and fruity, with a bright tartness. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, acidic palate. This is a big, fruity, and fun beer.

16 oz. can, thanks to Ben. Pours a clear, fizzy, sickly, yellow color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is mild dill, lime, yogurt, butterscotch, vinegar, and vanilla. Sweet and sugary, with a light tartness. Light body, with a sticky, acidic palate. This is a strange concept, but pretty tasty.

12 oz. can. Thanks, Ben! Pours a murky, yellow color, with a small, bubbly, white head. The nose is pine sap, strong floral notes, hemp, and grapefruit peel. Drying, with a hard, sticky bitterness. This is an assertive, unusual, and quality pale ale.

Can - murky hot mess of a beer - there are redeeming qualities in that there is complex hop fruitiness and a lot on lingering pepper and citrus - but through the middle it's garlicky, with a fair amount of fusel alcohol flavor - what bookends it is much more pleasant, but the damage is done to the overall enjoyment.
