Good Word Brewing & Public House starts with a village and the folks who make up the community. We are a collection of neighbors, it’s leaders, it’s youth, and it’s misfits. All are welcome.

Good Word is a place to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, to share stories, to celebrate, to propose, to commiserate, to communicate. We serve delicious locally sourced food and the absolute best beer we can produce. We pride ourselves on empathetic and patient service, however these are all just a backdrop intent on not interrupting your experience.

Because we are driven by the community, we are a Public House.

Canned, from Ace Beer Growlers, Newnan. Hazy golden, mid sized head. Pretty dank aroma of nectarine, grapes, papaya and pasionfruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel, Fruity, lightly husky malt. Pineapple and nectarine, some grass and green onion. Low bitterness.

Draft pour at Rustico. Poured a hazy dark amber-cola color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was caramel, light nutty notes. Flavor was bready, very light and easy to drink. Some earthy character. Solid mild, good toasted, sweet toffee. Tasty stuff.

16oz can from Wine & Beer shop. Pale, clear golden pour, head fades quickly. Aroma is bready, grainy, sweet. Taste adds a bit of dryness to the normal lager flavors, sweet.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a a lasting speckled beige head. Aroma is nutty, twiggy malts, rye bread, apple, brown sugars.. Palate is thin, mineraly, fine carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, chalky mineral, thin dry bread, rye, light dried fruits. Meh.

16 oz. can from Timmy. Pours a hazy-ish, dull, yellow color, with a small, off-white head. The nose is gentian, grapefruit, leather, and kiwi. Dry and musty, with a sharp, and astringent finish. Light to medium body, sharp, and hard. Pretty nice and aggressive.

500 mL bottle. Pours black, with a thin, tan ring. The nose is heavy whiskey, brownie batter, vanilla, pecan, and nutmeg. Sweet and sugary, without much bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and thick. Bold, boozy, and delicious.
