Good Word Brewing & Public House starts with a village and the folks who make up the community. We are a collection of neighbors, it’s leaders, it’s youth, and it’s misfits. All are welcome.

Good Word is a place to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, to share stories, to celebrate, to propose, to commiserate, to communicate. We serve delicious locally sourced food and the absolute best beer we can produce. We pride ourselves on empathetic and patient service, however these are all just a backdrop intent on not interrupting your experience.

Because we are driven by the community, we are a Public House.

16oz can pours out hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet citrus orange hops. Taste is more of the nice orange citrus forward hops.

On tap at Coles. Pours a hazy orange gold with small off white head. The aroma is citrus, cherry, wheat. Thin body, cherry candy, tangerine, wheat, light tartness, very good.

On tap at Leons Full Service, Decatur. Cloudy orange with medium white head. Malty, biscuit, sweetish, some light fruity notes. Smooth. Medium bodied. Quite good actually. Wonder how it would work out on cask.
