Good Word Brewing & Public House starts with a village and the folks who make up the community. We are a collection of neighbors, it’s leaders, it’s youth, and it’s misfits. All are welcome.

Good Word is a place to meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, to share stories, to celebrate, to propose, to commiserate, to communicate. We serve delicious locally sourced food and the absolute best beer we can produce. We pride ourselves on empathetic and patient service, however these are all just a backdrop intent on not interrupting your experience.

Because we are driven by the community, we are a Public House.

Pint can. Pours a hazy, yellow color, with a small, white head. The nose is papaya, grapefruit juice, lavender, and pisco. Sweet and juicy, with a strangely phenolic bitterness. Juicy and sharp. A little off.

16 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a fairly big, frothy, white head. The aroma is roasted corn, resin, green banana, dough, and dust. Yeasty, but not too sweet, with a sharp bitterness. Nicely done.

Proper pint from the engine at the Brick Store. The aroma is toast, spruce, orange zest, and dust. Sweet and malty, with a mellow bitterness. Light and smooth mouthfeel. Easy drinking and enjoyable English style.
