24/8/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear red with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of crisp tart apple, red grape, light wood, hint of berry and cherry brandy. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, quite fizzy. Nice tartness to finish.

750ml bottle from Le Social. Opened with a pop. Red colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of apple, red grape, spicy woody. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, red grape, with some acidity and spicy woody notes. Medium bodied, light to medium carbonation, dry tangy grapey finish. Quite drinkable.

3/8/2021. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear sparkling pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of medium sweet apple, brown sugar, light funky, citrus and grape notes. Medium sweetness and moderate tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, spritzy carbonation.

750ml bottle from Le Social. Opened with a pop. Hazy gold colour, big foamy white head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of apple, grape must, spicy. Taste is tangy apple, tart, green apple, grapey hint, and spruce, spicy, with earthy peppery tannin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry spicy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

2017 Bottle at Cider Show. Very rich and intense, alcohol present with a ligh pleasant warmth, rather the spicy-fruity character gives a solid kick. Delicious.

Bottle at Cider Show. Very dry, interesting character, actually evoking grass and wild flowers. Only very light sourness, rather seems tart. I do not get any acid character, or only very light. Quite good, once you gef used to the tart finish.
