Bottle at home picked up from the Orachard / Cidery. An almost clear mid orange coloured pour with some fading bubbles. Aroma is salty peaty islay cask, smoky, bark, rubber, tart green apple, grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart apple, big islay whisky, laphtroig, smoke, rubber, woody tannin. Palate is semi sweet and tart, almost still, Good complexity.

750ml wired cork bottle from Scrattings. Opened with a small pop. Sparkling, pale golden colour, white foamy head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of perry pear, funky, acetic hint. Taste is perry pear, fruity, fleshy, with earthy, acetic, funk, and citric acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry citric finish with lingering light funk. Nicely drinkable.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Perry Rating #300. Slightly hazy yellow gold colour, fizzy white foam head that gradually dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of perry pear, honey, musty. Taste is sweetish, perry pears, fruity, mellow funky, honey hint, with some tart citric rind, lime notes and light acidity. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, medium-dry finish. Very drinkable.

Taste is sweet, juicy apple, some herbal, woody & funky notes, with drying earthy tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
