Welcome to Masham Cider Press, we are an artisan craft cider press in the heart of North Yorkshire. We select only the best locally sourced apples from a variety of orchards for our annual pressings. We are also investing in community orchards for tailoring future vintages.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo. A clear golden colourd pour with a halo of white bubbles. Aroma is leafy apple, wet grass, bark, woody tannin. Flavour is composed of super dry, tart green apple, granny smith, uber dry, apple skins. Palate is super dry, tangy, highish fizzy carbonation. Little thin.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 25/08/24. Clear golden with some off white spotting that veers to the edge. Nose is crisp apple, straw, apple skin, light herb. Taste comprises apple pulp, tannins, light orchard wood, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Okay.

500ml bottle from Masham Cider Press stall, Darlington Food Festival 2024. Golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, fruit, funk. Taste is tangy, apple, some tartness, fruity, orchardy, wood, earthy, with leathery funk and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

BIAB at Darlington Beer Festival 2025 at Hopetown. 21Feb2025. Golden colour, no head and aroma of apple, fruit, funk. Taste is apple, fruity, fleshy, skin, with some funk and citric acidity. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying acidic finish. Nicely drinkable. Earlier rating 24/07/2024 - 500ml bottle from Hopetown, Darlington. Clear golden colour, short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit. Taste is tart, apple, fruity, fleshy, some skin, citric acidity and alittle drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry finish. Nicely drinkable.

Sample thanks to Danlo. Pours a clear gold, aroma has sweetish apple fruit. Natural sweet desert apple profile, subtle dry tannin murmur on the finish, tangy sulphur notes. Ok.

500ml bottle bought from Masham Cider Press stall at Hurworth Grange Craft Market. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fleshy. Taste is tart, apple, fleshy, some core, with funk hint, drying malic acidity and alittle tannin. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tart & slightly tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from Richmond Brewery shop at the Station, Richmond. Sparkling golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruity. Taste is tangy, slightly tart, apple, core, fruity, some drying acidity and hint of tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy finish. Nicely drinkable.

BIAB at Stumble Inn Beer & Cider Festival, Northallerton, 03Sep2022. Hazy gold colour, no head and aroma of apple, fruity, yeasty, some funk. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, some mucky funk and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry earthy tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

16/9/2021. BIAB sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of green apple, citrus, touch of fruity perfume. Moderate sweetness and tartness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Tart and dry finish.
