What's Your Name Mean?
"Want to play a game?" Used to be our response, but because of our growth and your support we're adding this link to ease your curiosity. No, it's not an acronym. Yes, it is a name! But it's not a combination of ours. In fact, Andrew and Kai are brother-in-laws. Each married to 2 of 3 sisters. Richard's brother is married to the third. And Voila! There it is! We are all family by marriage and bond. Oh, and the name.... is the girl's maiden name! Brownie points

Roast and coffee. Decent flavour for a near non alcoholic beer. Pours dark brown with decent head. Light bitter end. Tap at Herndon taproom.

On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT on 08/21/2021.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a bar pour's kind of slim eggshell white foamy head which slipped off nicely and barely left any lace
Aroma: the maple, coffee roast and coffee sweet tones up front with some milk chocolate and dark chocolate in the middle then some sweet tones of bacon-ish & salty whiffs far down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet & roasty quality and once again, the semi-sweet & salty bacon tones are hidden way in the back; finishes maple and coffee toned
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being a sipper; good smoothness and nothing really distracts the beer from staying smooth all the way down
Overall: nice enough milk/sweet stout but there wasn't a whole lot of bacon.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet coffee, roasted coffee tones, subtle ash, sweet maple, light caramel/toffee malts and a little bit of chocolate
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty quality; finishes coffee sweet with maple notes
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning to being sessionable, good smoothness
Overall: nice enough milk/sweet stout that has what Aslin says are there.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: golden yellow to copper color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some papaya, mango, light mint and tangerine hop notes; light clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy bittersweet quality; finishes papaya to mango-like
Texture: medium bodied, between being sessionable and being a sipper as there's some smoothness but also somd hop assertiveness
Overall: when it's not a milkshake IPA, sometimes Aslin can brew some good ones and I don't know if that minty scent was intentional or not. I'd come back to this.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: brassy orange/copper color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mango, pineapple, coconut and vanilla; clean malts
Flavor: juicy sweet through the prior noted aromas and with a big vanilla/lactose and sweet creamy aspect combining here; finishes very mango forward and creamy
Texture: medium bodied, I guess sessionable (there's nothing really distracting) and very smooth and creamy along the tongue
Overall: I like NEIPA's but these milkshake IPA's, eh, oh I dunno. Just telling myself - "go onto the next beer, Adam."

Appearance: thick orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: grapefruit, peaches and papaya hop notes, light clean malts
Flavor: blends the previously noted aromas to a fine juicy sweet to bitter quality; finishes grapefruity and peachy
Texture: about medium bodied - maybe a touch under, some sessionability about it; juicy smooth along the tongue; low hop bitterness
Overall: nicely done NEIPA worthy of coming back to.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: bright orange color with a two finger white foamy head which slipped off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: mangoes and pineapples and a light sugary sweetness; lots of sweet cream and lactose
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a pretty sweet to juicy sort of way; finishes creamy with the mangoes
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; very smooth and creamy along the tongue
Overall: one of these milkshake IPA's I thought I'd give a chance and ended up thinking I'm exactly thrilled with this style. Hmmmm...eh...

Can to snifter.
Appearance: pale orange haziness with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: oranges, pine, lemon pith, sweet onions and subtle pineapple-y hop tones with some doughy/bready malts
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a good bittersweet semi-juicy character; finishes orangey/lemony/piney
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch over; mostly sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: nice enough NEDIPA pretty worthy of returning to.
