Very dark brown and cloudy with lasting fluffy head. Aroma has something of caramelised carrot. Super perfumed from the spruce. Reminds me of Beaver Gland beer from Marke. Weird and interesting.

ABV: 7.0%. ★ Hazy medium brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate hoppy, pine, spruce, green hops, porse. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted - toased, spruce, pine, porse, wood - juniper, spruce shoot. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240405]

500ml Can - Amber in colour. Biscuity malt, caramel, nuts and hints of peach and orange in the aroma. Biscuity malt, toffee, earth and some subtle yet fairly noticeble notes of citrus, presumably from the Motueka hops. With New World hops in a bitter it is easy to overdo it (or simply not making it noticeable at all) but here it is just right, or lagom as Swedes say. A tasty bitter with a nice modern twist.
