Poured from wooden barrel in cellar during brewery tour. Malty aroma and taste with light hoppy and yeasty notes, light caramel, light herbal notes, medium bitter, but higher than regular PU. Medium body, malty bitter finish. The father of all pilsners... Excellent.

Tap at Café Opera Olomouc. Hazy, shiny copper body, lasting thick off-white head. Perfumey aroma, bit estery, plums. Lean soft taste, herbal hoppiness, the lightly simplistic, harsh herbal bitterness piercing through the supple maltiness. Okay but good enough for 150 years? Nah.

Draught at Restaurace Rychlík, Praha, at very start of our journey to South Korea. Almost clear, gold amber colored. AROMA- toasted malts, honey, pale plum, apricot, berries, rowanberry. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, toasted, spicy and earthy hops, honey, pale plum, apricot, berries, dark grapes, caramel. Medium bodied. Nice Czech amber lager.
