(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Pours clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt and fruit. Medium body with odd Hubba Bubba fruit notes and a strangely raw finish. Really odd and unclean without being bad as such. But nowhere near anything I’d call a Bohemian Pils. 230407

Hazy light amber color. The aroma shows wonderful Czech hops and elegant malt; cookies and fudge; sweet nuts; almost flowery; wonderful. Good malty taste, the body has a medium strength; good aromatic Czech hops giving the necessary bitterness, mixing in the final with the caramel. One of the best bottles Bohemian Pilsner.
It seems that the bottle has been provided by Motelpogo: big thanks!

(swing top bottle, with special thanks to pivnizub) Hazy, amber colour with a persistent, off-white foamy head. Dusty, slightly honeyish sweet malty aroma with a tinge of herbal, resiny hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a pleasantly smooth carbonation. Slightly yeasty, soft malty taste with subtle fruity notes; medium-dry, malty, slightly yeasty- and hop-bitter finish. Well-crafted brew.

On tap at the brewpub: Deep golden coloured, a bit hazy with a firm and lacing off-white head, delicate sweet-malty, a bit honeyish and oaky-hoppy nose, solid sweet-bitter flavour with distinctive hops in the honeyish finish. A fine, tasty and well balanced brew.........

Copper coloured with a firm white head, sweet honeyish nose with a tinge of toasted malt and hops, quite light bodied, mild sweet-bitter flavour, ending in a short, malty and bitter finish. Not bad, but not very impressive...........

On tap, at the brewpub: Literally black coloured with a firm and lacing off-white head: Delicate caramelly and roast-malty nose, quite light bodied, shy dry bitter flavor, ending in a short and dry roast-malty finish. O.K., nothing unpleasant detectable, but a bit thin..........
