Dark brown, creamy foam. Aroma: sweet, a little wild, caramel, burnt, not enough smoke, ashes, a little infection. Tastes: sweetish, burnt, ashes, very dry, smoked, caramel, whisky, I wanted more and much cleaner.

Appearance: Opaque chestnut brown with a one finger tall ivory-coloured frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Esters, dark malts, banana, bread, nuts, dried pears. Taste: Medium plus sweet, malty and fruity. Dried apples & pears, banana, caramel & toast, bread, walnut, a hint of smoke, distant hop. Low to light bitterness. Mouth feel: Full body, soft to average carb. Overall: Well brewed. But: Damn sugar!.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black beer with a one finger tall beige frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: Pretty roasted, vinous, hoppy. A classical imperial stout profile. Warming alcohol. A lot of hop in the ending. Mouth feel: medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: Good.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall beige head of medium retention. Aroma: Clove, cinnamon, pumpkin, dark malt, maple syrup. Taste: Light to medium sweet and bitter. Dark malts, maple syrup, dried fruits, spices, hop, not so much pumpkin luckilly. Hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Full body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: Interesting. Powerful.

Appearance: Cloudy gold with a huge off-white frothy head of high retention. Aroma: Resin, pine needles, grapefruit, crackers. Taste: Medium dery. Medium bitter. Resin, pine needles, grapefruit, crackers, hop oil. Mouth feel: light to medium body. Average carbonation.

Appearance: cloudy gold with a moderate off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: herbs, lemon, pale malt, distant tropical notes. Taste: light sweet, light to medium bitter. Herbs, grapefruit, pale malt, some lemon zest. Dry hoppy ending. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average carbonation. Summary: drinkable enough.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a ta;; beige head of decent retention. Aroma: dark malt, chocolate, odd barrel-like notes. Fruitiness. Taste: Pretty dry, light to medium bitter. Dark malt, chocolate, bread, strange barrel-like acidity, again. Pronounced hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: A bit incomprehensible.

Appearance: Foggy gold with a large of-white frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: Pine needles, grapefruit, tropical hints, malt. Taste: Same profile. Light sweet, medium plus piny bitterness. Mouth feel: Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Summary: Decent old-school stuff.
