Mazák Brewery from Dolní Bojanovice was founded in 2011.
The brewery was founded and continues to operate in the picturesque wine-growing village of Dolní Bojanovice, located in the Lower Moravian valley 8 km from the town of Hodonín.

Over the years, the technology was brought up to the current five-vessel brewhouse, in which the brewery is able to brew a batch with a volume of 1400L. The portfolio of the brewery consists of both classic Czech and German-style lagers, as well as top-fermented beers of the ALE type. To produce beer, it uses domestic malts and hops, as well as foreign hops, which are most often used in the production of special beers.

Tap at BGB with Gurthnar (thx!) and Cuso. Murky reddish body, pinkish small head. Raspberry and sulfury notes in the aroma Tart raspberry taste, bit spicy-phenolic, lightly vegetal, but okay. Not getting almost any star anise. Okay, but disappointing for Mazák.

Tap. Pinkish head with off-white head. Clear aroma of raspberries, not too much more. Taste is again mainly raspberries, light badyan, touch of salt, gentle sourness in finish. Good.

Tap at BeerGeek. Thin body, med-high carbo. Medium sourness, light fruity tartness. Lots of natural feeling raspberry, badyan manifesting lightly in the finish, but mostly not getting in the way. Simple, but tasty and good.

750ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Lemon, orange and some slightly grassy and bready notes in the aroma. Lemony taste with notes of pineapple, bread, grass, orange and grain.

Tap at Craft House. Rather thin, med-light carbo. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Feels like a kiwi-syrup-flavoured beer, with not much of actual hops character, rather generic and chemical fruitiness instead. Average-good. Not great by any stretch.

Tap at NaPalmě. Clear golden body, laaaaasting thick white head. NZ herbs, sharp in the aroma, some lemon. Lean, dry, bitter taste, bit floral, herbal, some citric candy, excessively long herbal bitter finish. Fine, but a bit rough around the edges.

Frothy white good mostly diminishing head. Pale red cloudy colour. Light malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Light bitter very moldy flavor. Plumb present cinnamon almost not. Average finish. Watery palate.
