Description
LOC Brewery brews quirky, craft beers that are a voyage of discovery for the taste senses. It is our ambition to conquer the world with this. LOC Brewery wants to experiment with flavours, herbs, fruit and even let beers mature in wooden barrels.
LOC Brewery is an initiative of Roy Maas (he left in 2018), Erwin Schellekens, Daniel Tano and Paul Cools. The four know each other because their children were in the same class, so they met in the schoolyard. In December 2014, LOC Brewery started brewing small amounts of beer. Since then, brewing has accelerated to meet the demand from tastings and events. The first beer was launched in June 2015.

Waterig. Ver weg zit er wel wat hop maar het is vooral spa rood. Ben beter gewend van LOC.

Fairly hazy yellow blond with a small white head. Aroma of Brett, citrus, dank hops and tart citrus. Flavour is moderate sour and bitter. Medium bodied with soft light carbonation. Shame, clearly infected.

Bottle. Brown pour. Aroma of milk chocolate, herbal chocolate malt, cherry, tonka and licorice. Taste has mocha, milk chocolate, herbal tonka, licorice, chocolate malt and a little smoke. Lacks that cinnamon and coconut flavor that tonka often has. Not bad, but expected more.

Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een zeepig wit schuim. Het heeft een tropische fruitige geur. De smaak is vreemd zurig, fruitig en hoppig.

Can shared with TdeRoeck. Hazy yellow color with a small to average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, something a bit off though. Odd. Still ok but a bit odd.

21/XII/19 - 33cl can @ home, BB: n/a, bottled: 15/VIII/19 - (2019-2163) Thanks to Benzai for sharing the bottle!
Pretty clear blond beer, small creamy dense off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: dank, tropical fruits, mango, sweetish, good! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some tropical fruits, and then it goes downhill very quickly. A bad nasty chemical taste, with weird plastic flavours, really dirty, a bit sourish. Aftertaste: is more of that bad stuff, burned rubber, plastic, not good at all, probably infected.
Paired with creamy chicken ragout and french fries. This would've worked if it would've been a decent lager...

Can at home. Murky yellow color, soapy bubbly white head. Aroma and flavor remind me of citruspeel mixed with lime and some milkshaky influences. Decent body, somewhat sharp carbonation. Hmm ok.
