A meadery and brewery based in the border between Wales and England making a modern twist on the world's oldest form of alcohol. Lighter, sparkling and infused with a variety of flavours.

Hey! We're Kit and Matt. We set up Wye Valley Meadery in 2018 and have been producing a growing range of delicious sparkling and traditional meads ever since. Our experimentation led us to create some beer / mead hybrids and we quickly realised this required further investigation.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, thin beige head. Aroma: Oak wood, whiskey. Taste: Well balanced blend of honey, Whiskey, oak wood and some grain and hop. Whiskey is lightly overwhelming, but I don't mind. A bit thin body, low to zero carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Nice Braggot.

Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a clean back.
Smooth with a lightly carbonated back.& clean.
Honey, apricot, & woody wine tastes with a bit of ribena.

330ml can from BeerGB. Pale pink color, white foam head and aroma of raspberry, honey, musk. Taste is sweet, raspberries, honey, with alittle tartness and citric acidity. Medium bodied, high carbonation, sweet & slightly tart berry & honey finish. Quite drinkable.

750ml bottle from Bier Huis. Red colour, thin white bubbly rim and aroma of strawberry, honey, caramel. Taste is sweet, honey, strawberry, jammy, with some caramel and alittle tartness. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet & drying honey & strawberry finish. Nicely drinkable.

200ml bottle from BeerGB. Golden amber colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of honey, heather, flowery, herbs. Taste is sweet, honey, spicy, heathery, with herbal notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, sweet & drying heather earthy finish. Quite drinkable.
