Description
We launched in December 2017 as a small team with big ambitions to make beers bursting with flavour. Inspired by the outdoors and our love for adventure, we began to develop a surreal and exciting world to reflect the flavour of our beers. Hops climb mountains, barrels dwell in caves and mischievous fruits roam free.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Airy palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Dark chocolate Malteasers but pretty much sans any real sweetness. A mild smoky vibe. No barrel aging here but there is a strident brandy like richness to the ripe fruits in this one, would be a welcome treat in a Barleywine as much as this Impy. Airy finish brings on a little alcohol spice but really not much heat. A rich and rewarding brew that largely belies it's hefty 15% abv.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, and coffee, leading to a dry finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 06/03/24. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap that thins to a swirl and edging. Nose is dark malts, stewed fruits, booze, toffee, dates, vinous trace, figs. Taste comprises sweet malts, brown sugar melt, sweeter than the nose suggested, molasses, treacle toffee, booze tunes, figs, dates, light spice balance, fruit cake mix, syrup. Full bodied, viscous oily feel with a semi drying close and big punchy kick of alcohol. Fun barley wine ... veers on the overly sweet side at times but pulls back and delivers a sticky fruit cake mess.

[September 2022] Cloudy red with a bubbly white head. Big fruity red wine vibes on the nose, dry mouthfeel with oaky, vanilla notes and a subdued fruity red wine flavour. Not particularly sour, and has a slightly sweet, dry fruity aftertaste - I see reference to cranberry and that makes sense

Too much on the gelato ice cream side, could use more of the coconut and less of the pure sugar. Well brewed but I won’t buy again. Craft draft ams

Tap at Skaal, Copenhagen 29/12/2023 Sweet roasted dark malty with notes of chocolate, caramel, excellent complexity going on with lovely layering of bourbon, port, and sherry barrel aged delivery coming in, nice mouthfeel and body, mint is there but thankfully well judged/subtle. Lovely.
