Wasn't expecting a pastry stout on Crowsnest Pass, that's for sure. Dark brown. Thin head. Fairly rich, boozy, light salt and caramel. Definitely a fair bit of chocolate. I like that they’re just making a random everyday pastry stout. I have time for that.

Pale gold, bright. Thin head. Some fruity hops but they seem muted. Basic pale malts. Ok so a clipped IPA or something.

Slight haze, thin head. Bright hops, crisp malt base, nice grapefruit and slight pine. Tasty.

Hazy, not much head. Soft body and light stone fruit. Hint of pineapple. Not bad but the malt base is a bit light. Their classic pale is better.

Medium brown, thin head. Medium body with more of a thin, crackery malt that needs more residual sugar and complexity. Husky, empty.

On tap. Pours a crystal clear gold with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Mild aroma of grainy malt, faint lime and floral hops. Mild, sweet flavour of grainy malt, lime and a hint of black pepper in a crisp, dry, mild bitter, grassy hop finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Nothing exciting, but it's crushable and thirst quenching on a hot summer day.
