Bottle from the Kitchen Brew shop, as India Dark Ale, 6.5% abv. Pours almost black with a beige head that almost disappears, but leaves a thick lace. In the mouth, a punch of roasted malt, almost overpowering. Bitter, rather than sweet, but well balanced and delicious pairing with bitter foods.

Small white head over hazy yellow golden beer. Nice, inviting fruity hops' nose, (sweet) citrus, bit of caramel. Very bitter, hoppy flavour, bit vegetable and even metallic bitterness, going on into the aftertaste. Light body, good carbonation. Good, but the typical disadvantages of nablabs show, as an empty finish, the metallic bitterness - which gets stronger warming up. It might have benefitted from some more maltbacking. Txs to Joren for bringing!
