Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle! Smooth malty but a bit grainy-alcoholic beginning. Nice floral hops, but they have to fight with the grainy malty body for the top. A bit dusty-dry. The aftertaste is round and grainy, slightly sweetish with nice floral round hops on the earthy side.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Overripe peaches, a bit off, but besides quite sweet and full, some bitterness. Not rounded, too much.

Amber color with tan head. Aroma is sweet peaches and cat piss, not very complex. Taste is sweet peaches again, not complex. Sweet malt base underlying as well. Sticky sweet, and with a bittersweet finish. Well-made probably, but too sweet for me. A bit ticklish carbonation and a tart sting.

Brown color with tan head. Aroma is thick bitter chocolate, fresh mintiness and some undefined vegetables? Taste is bitter chocolate, some fruits, the dry smokiness stays on the tongue throughout. Low carbonation. The aroma is a bit of a turnoff, but the taste is fine. It’s good.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Yes, there is some dark chocolate and yes, it is a porter, but it also has some white cabbage and other vegetables in it, too. Yuk. Mouthfeel and taste are okay, but the smell really puts me off.

Bottle, courtesy of GrandpaTurtle. A surprisingly bitter RIS with lots of liquorice and some coffee. Not really balanced though.

Bottled 330ml. -Trade with CH-303 (thanks Asbjorn!). Black coloured, huge brown head, pure chicory nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, chicory, light caramel and notes of wood with whiff of smoke in the finish. One-dimensional.
