Bottled, thanks Bov! Pitch black, brief head. Aroma of citrus and licorice. Quite dry with soft, lightly spritzy mouthfeel and full body. Licorice, molasses and citrus. White pepper and honey in a finish with low bitterness.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, cough medicine, mild smoked notes, some burnt wet wood as well as some alcohol. Flavour is rather similar with some mild metallic notes. Also gives a huge alcoholic burn in the finish.

Hopfiger, schnell abflachender Antrunk. Interessant! 8/9/9/8/7/9

Aromatisch hopfiger Antrunk, stark, süßlich, ziemlich blumig. Rundum gelungenes IPA! 9/12/12/13/12/13

Courtesy of Philippe (Bov); unfortunately, left in the cellar for 1 year
Black color; medium sized head, brownish. Strange aroma, strong soap for washing machines, then also some ammonia and roasted malts; later, the weirdness leaves, and there is a more comforting aroma of roasted malt. The mouthfeel is quite smooth; there is a very good flavor of roasted malt, some coffee, dark caramel, light liquorice, all very well blended together, and even an impression of vanilla and oak. Correct bitterness. Excellent.

Best before 2010-07-02, tasted one week before the bbd

Cloudy dark amber color; generous head, compact. Very nice aroma, and very strong; hoppy, fruity, with light resins, cheese and yeast; there is a creamy impression, probably the bottle is not very fresh. Good body strength; strong caramel and malt flavor, sweet; strong bitterness, partially resiny and fruity, in the end also a bit dusty. The final is powerful, very long, and sweet too, with traces of yeast.
It makes me crave for a fresh bottle...
There are lots of similar examples in America, but in Switzerland this hop bomb (I’m not randomly choosing the words) is quite unique, still.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy amber, rich, firm, creamy head. Strong sweaty grapefruit aroma. Sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Lots of perfumy grapefruity hops lead to a long citric bitterness in a finish with some peppery alcohol. A well made, potent IPA.

Black color; huge bronish head. Nice aroma, mild coffee, roasted malt, caramel, cardboard. Medium bodied, the mouthfeel is quite smooth, with a mild (very appreciated) roasted malt flavor, some caramel, light liquorice, and a milky feeling too. Good Schwarz, well brewed.
