Gravity cask at Cambridge Beer Festival 2026. Pours deep brown with beige foam. Toasty malts, nuts, dark fruits/berries. Light sweet & bitter. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head and excellent lacing. There’s maple and nuts in the aroma. In the mouth it starts off sweet and creamy but fairly quickly dry hoppy bitterness takes over. Flavour is oranges and nuts with hints of peanut butter, spice and apricot coming later. Finish is extremely dry. This is decent – unusually hoppy and interesting.

Quite true to style.
Not that thin body.
Mild malty, fruity and mild herbal
