The LHG Brewpub is an independent brewery and bar in the centre of Bristol.
We opened the doors to our brewpub on 13th June 2019, with the aim to create a beating heart at the centre of our business. A place for us to engage and interact with the people who drink our beer, and shorten the distance between production and glass. Our Brewpub was crowdfunded, with 1500 people investing in our small company. We are incredibly proud to be the custodians of a site that has over 250 years of brewing history within its walls.

Can at Monty's. Pours hazy yellow pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of spicy Voss yeast, pineapple and citrus. Taste has light hops, blueberry, citrus. Light bitter finish.

440ml can - Pours a cola brown colour with a small beige head that slowly settled. The aroma is bready and light roasted malts, toffee, dried fruit and coffee notes. A malty taste, brown bread, toffee, sultanas and light chocolate flavours with a drying finish.

Appearance- golden, with a 1-finger foamy white head. Aroma is pithy fruit, orange, stewed hoppy fruit, caramel, marmalade hints. Taste is juicy hoppy fruit, pineapple, some mango and tropical fruit, orange peel, malty undertones, bitter hop resin, some candied sticky fruit.

Can at home, Boxing Day 2021. Pours a clear golden. Aroma is pine and grapefruit, candied orange. Taste is bitter marmalade and pine, great bitterness and balance, citrus pith and grapefruits, bitter and pleasant linger. Great old school westie.

Can from Etre Gourmet webshop Grez-Doiceau, Belgium. Listening to Ezra Furman standing in for Marc Riley on 6 Music and cooking Fish Pie, Monday 20th December 2021. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Okay this is a step up, lovely crushing bitterness, resinous, orange, a little pithy, dryness, furry rasps across the tongue, malt profile is subtle. Great.
