About
The LHG Brewpub is an independent brewery and bar in the centre of Bristol.

We opened the doors to our brewpub on 13th June 2019, with the aim to create a beating heart at the centre of our business. A place for us to engage and interact with the people who drink our beer, and shorten the distance between production and glass. Our Brewpub was crowdfunded, with 1500 people investing in our small company. We are incredibly proud to be the custodians of a site that has over 250 years of brewing history within its walls.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 29/04/21. Clear golden to light amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is orange zest, grass, pine dusting, grapefruit, crisp malts. Taste comprises orange peel, light pine needle, grapefruit, bitter sweet malts, melon, mixed tropicana, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy come grassy hop bitterness. Solid clean drinking IPA with an old skool vibe ... pulls off the west coast genre well.

Can from Ghost Whale. Aroma had sour berries and underlying chocolatey malts. Opaque darkest brown. Creamy beige head soon develops a large bald spot. Light-medium sour. Low key underlying bitterness. A touch of fruity sugary sweetness in the finish plus a hint of trad boiled veg. Light-medium bodied. Slick if thinnish. Average-fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. It's fine. Just not really doing it for me. And the aftertaste just seems a tad synthetic.

Can from Growlers and Cans stall at West Byfleet Farmer's Market. Aroma combines sugary sweetness with an onion element. Hazy pale yellow. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium. Tart dry citrus. Hint of onion. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry somewhat astringent finish. Fine. Seems kinda basic or, perhaps, uncomplicated.
