Can (with big puller) at home, Easter Sunday 16/04/17 ... I think this is what Jesus would have wanted ! Very light haze on a deep golden pour with a big off white head that retains well. Nose is pale malts, straw, light citric whisper, grains, cereal, biscuit tinged. Taste comprises pale malts, bread dough, biscuit, light caramel, faint orange, toasted corn. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close Nice robust pils ... plenty of body and flavour ... refreshing stuff.

Svart med hĂžyt tykt beige skum som vedvarer. Lukter kakaopulver, mĂžrk sjokolade og kaffe. Lett. SĂžtlig smak, brunt sukker, sĂžtlig lakris, lett bitterhet mot kaffe og noe sjokolade.

Keg at Beer and Burger, Willesden Green, London, Friday 7th April 2017 Pours the colour of orange juice, with barely a head to speak of. Slight tropical hints on the nose. A little bit thin but it’s refreshing and pleasant. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Fra hÄndpumpe pÄ Comptons of Soho, London: klar kobberfarge med lite skum. Fruktig ogmfrisk med lett bitterhet. Hint av tropiske frukter og appelsinmarmelade. Flat munnfÞlelse og litt sÞtlig avslutning. En ok leskedrikk til formiddagsbruk,,men ikke noe mer.

Keg at the Eebria tap room. A MILKY orange coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is dish soap, mango, little dank, plastic hockey puck. Flavour is composed of harsh grainy hockey puck, spicy citrus, soapy. Palate is raw grains, highish carbonation. Too plastic.

Can on the train from Bingohame to Coventry, 04/02/17. Black pour with a decent frothy tan cap. Nose is chocolate, toffee, spice, light hop dusting, charr, brown bread. Taste comprises milk chocolate, roast malt, light vanilla, biscuit, light fruit load. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop sprinkling. Decent enough stout.

33cl can, partagĂ©e avec la BXL tasting crew, merci Pierre T. DorĂ©e, lĂ©ger orange, col Ă©pais blanc-cassĂ©. ArĂŽme au nez finement houblonnĂ©, fruitĂ© noble avec un rĂ©tro-nasal orientĂ© sur les agrumes, lĂ©ger fleuri, encore C hops, base de malt arrivant comme balance. Palais est lĂ©ger mettant en avant un maltĂ© pĂąle pils Ă  l’accent anglais. HoublonnĂ© plutĂŽt modĂ©rĂ© avec un ajout fin d’amertume complĂ©tĂ© par de fines pointes de fleuri et agrumes orientĂ©es vers le pamplemousse.

33cl can, partagĂ©e avec la BXL tasting crew, merci Pierre T. DorĂ©e, col blanc lĂ©ger. ArĂŽme au nez fin houblonnĂ© avec un parfum US sorte de C hops que je suppose ĂȘtre Cascade offrant de fines effluves d’agrumes. Grains percent en rĂ©tro-nasal sur un bouquet trĂšs UK. Palais est maltĂ©, pĂąle et pils, sec sur la fin avec un lĂ©ger fleuri, fruitĂ© et agrumes avec un penchant amĂ©ricain restant lĂ©ger. Facile Ă  boire.

ArĂŽme au nez finemetn rĂ©sineux, rĂ©tro de pin, accompagnement maltĂ© restant moyen pour permettre aux houblons d’avoir une belle place. Palais est maltĂ©, pĂąle, un peu biscuitĂ©, houblonnĂ© arrive en retrait avec un cĂŽtĂ© rĂ©sineux, raisin blanc, petit rappel de Simcoe? plus autres agrumes et une fin tournant un peu sur les grains.

Can at home picked up from Fortnum and Mason. Can opened with a good bit of vigour and some beer on my face. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is clean lager malts, tangy apple, little ester fruits, lemon zest. Flavour is composed of light crisp grains, cereal, watermellon and pear esters, chalk. Palate is gassy, abrasive carbonation, crips finish. Pretty damn drinkable.
