Hazy orange beer, thin white head. Orangey hop flavour. Taste is grassy, zesty hop. Very dry. Tasty but there’s not a lot else to it, though the dry, slightly tart finish is pleasant too.

Really fruity, almost pure pineapple. Where are the hops?

330ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige head. Nuttily, chocolately and slightly earthy, dark malty aroma, some husk. Taste is bitter hoppy and slightly chocolately, roasty dark malty, minimally earthy nutty, some coffee, a cautious touch of blueberry.

330ml can. Minimally cloudy, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly weak, citrusy and piney hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, lemon tea, caramel malty background. Taste is initially slightly citrusy and grassy hoppy, rapidly transforming into mineral and metallic; moreover quite watery.

33cl bottle at the brewery on 19th Nov 2016. Ruby hue to the dark brown body, beige head. Decent aroma and taste: Chocolate and coffee esters to the fore, some vanilla joins them in the flavour. Nice, smooth palate, slightly oily. Liked it.

33cl can at the brewery on 19th Nov 2016. Not too sure they’ve got this right. Murky, dirty dishwater brown, scummy off-white topping (marmite like sticky deposit in base of can). Label says ’Juice Bomb’, it did have a mixed fruit bowl sort of aroma and taste but more of overripe and rotting berries than a tantalizing selection of fresh fruitiness. Not for me at all: just about managed to finish it.

33cl can at the brewery on 19th Nov 2016. Golden with a weak white head. Just another citrusy flavoured hop centric IPA: it was fine but I am fed up with this type of beer, scored objectively.

Half-pint, keg at the brewery on 19th Nov 2016. Hazy golden pour, white head. Orange like aroma and taste, not pithy though: semi-sweet initially before becoming more bitter and acidic in the finish: liked it.
