Taster at the brewery - dark amber - creamy texture - sweet hazelnut, plum, cherry - moderate banana and clove - some plum and tobacco - could use a bit more to balance the sweetness, but it's pretty good.

Taster at the brewery - listed at 9.5 abv - sharply acidic up front, and quite boozy - the smoothness you want in the style is not present- it burns and the malt is husky and burnt - crazy sweet, sharp, and hard to enjoy.

Taster at the brewery - clear gold - completely clean and rich in smokiness - tastes like a goddamn camp bonfire - medium sweet and without the abrassive qualities that sometimes arise in such smoky beers - more, please.

Taster at the brewery - clear gold - the hallertauer shines pretty well in this - clean, dry, moderately bitter - some perceptible flaws on the back end (green apple), but decent.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, fruit and mild hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
