Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Light gold and clear with a small uneven white head and lots of lacing. Light sulphur in the aroma, which obscures the berry note of the Mosaic. Sweet taste, notes of berry, grapefruit, bubblegum. Finishes on a medicinal bitterness. Light body and carbonation. Weird but still okay.

Keg draught at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Reddish brown and a little cloudy with a small off-white head. Woody aroma with berries and vinous notes. Balanced taste with notes of toffee, fresh berry, brown sugar and savoury cooking herbs. Turns slightly astringent in the finish. Slight body with low carbonation. Not one of their best but drinkable enough.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold, clear with a small crescent ring of white head. Aroma of fresh cold butter, warming toffee,, caramel. Balance in the taste with an initial sweetness cancelled out by a fairly intense hop bitterness in the finish. I do like strong golden beers but this doesn't quite have the oomph I was hoping for. Still, a capable enough drink.
