Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, relatively fast-dying tan head that barely coats the top after a few minutes. Aroma of poblano peppers (of course), with literally no heat, but a good flavour profile with some roasted malt, light grain, a dose of vanilla and a touch of caramelised sugars. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong poblano notes with a bit of a smoked peat flavour, some lighter nuttier and earthy notes with a dash of sugars and a hint of some vanilla and some almost porter and full stoutier notes. Aftertaste shows almost exclusively the poblano peppers with a big hint of vanilla, caramelised sugars and a lot of the dry, earthy flavours that you'd get from a stout, but the roasted malt and obviously the peppers make all the difference here. Overall, a very nice beer to sample with a lot of the pepper note, but no heat, however a good flavour profile and a robust bite throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Supermarket Liqours in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$1,75 sampled at home in Washington on a [finally] chilly night on 18-October-2019, a bit more than 2 years after purchase.

09/18/18, gnarly pink color, it's beautiful. Smells like dragon fruit juice. But tastes thin and the taste falls off quick. Maybe this beer doesn't travel well at all. It does smell great and look great though. Would make an awesome refreshing summer beer

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, tan head. Celery and jalapeno on the nose, with some milk chocolate, coffee, and earth. Sweet and malty, with a hint of bitterness. Medium body, with a chalky, malty mouthfeel. A pretty solid, simple stout, and as promised on the can, no heat.

A couple ounces at Trails End. Pours bright orange, with a big, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is nectarines, cloves, green bananas, pine, syrup, and dust. Sweet with light esters and mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a chewy, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a pleasant and mellow beer. Solid.

From a 12 oz. can. Pours a dark cola brown with an ecru head. Flavors of chocolate and mild chili. Bitter roast finish.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, fleeting, fizzy, beige head. The aroma is black cherries, lime peel, cloves, light chocolate, and cola. Sweet and sugary, with a mild, acrid sour flavor. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, acidic, and clingy. This is a fun and interesting beer, but the flavor is a little off.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can from GTAEgeek poured into a glass. Hazy yellow with very little head. Aroma is light lime, light/medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is lime, tart, and brine.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/19/2016, 2 chocolate-orange beers in a row. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, wheat and chocolate. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, citrus and sweet chocolate. The finish is creamy with a chocolate and orange aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz. can. Pours hazy brown, with a small, beige head. The nose is caramel, almonds and syrup, with an off aroma of cough medicine. Sweet and a little unpleasantly sour. Light to medium body, smooth and creamy, and a little clingy. This is a significantly off beer; this is clearly my punishment for buying an Oktoberfest in January. Hopefully, it’s better fresh.

Can - turbid amber - no head - smells of burnt sugar, DMS, light sourness - sourish malt character up front, followed by muddy grain and burnt sugar malt character - a bit of vegetal character - some caramel - weird baked apple qualities in the finish - messy.
