50cl bottle pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose has apples and juice, some cake icing, some spice. Flavors follow, apple and apple juice, still a little cakey too. Dry with some spice on the end. Good complexity.

Bottle at the early November DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a very clear yellow color with a small fizzy head. Pleasant apples, crisp. Very dry, with only a scant amount of sweetness to it.

Flip top bottle purchased from the rep at BK Cider House in 2019. Stemless wine glass @ home. Hazy, state color; lingering bubbles. Smells of wild yeast ferments, musk, faint saline, potentially sharp & watery apples. Taste is moderately acidic, yet mellow in flavor starchy apples, yeasties, brine, unripe melon. Very carbonated, very thin, dry but I cannot pick out the quick that I purchased it for. Difficult to drink because of the one-sided acid & lack of layers. Okay.

Year old bottle from last cider market @ BK Cider House. Low-ball glass @ home. Dark, slightly murky green tea & fresh apple cider. Cheese, herbal, gum, pond water, roasted apples. This eventually clears the air & becomes more like fresh hay & sticky sweet apples. Taste is slightly sweet & very tropical. Bitter pineapple core, honeydew, Japanese gummy candies, gum. Lingering coarse apple finish. Very faint Sidra qualities way in back. Feel is slick, not quite thin, very strong but soft carbonation. Had this fresh last year & a year to dry out was well spent. Might get vinegary or too phenolic if forgotten about in the basement for too long though. Drink your stash!

Two year old bottle from BK Cider House. Lowball @ home. Annoying wax that I struggled with before realizing I could just flip the top. :/ crispy-looking, opaque, mellow gold brew. Smell is funky goat farm, cheese, browned apples & yogurt. Super carbonated, yogurty sweet funk cider, with a doughy & tannic middle drying it all out. Browned, borderline rotten apple essence playing into gummy & half sharp Sidra wild fermentation is my take. Dusty dry finish. Good while bubbly. Very dense flavors. Drink fast.

Cute 500ml bottle from an open house cider event in BK last year. Duvel glass @ home. Sparkling, golden, oily, clear body. Smells of sharp, tannic ice cider, faint butter & whiskey. Taste is softer. Plush, bittersweet, macerated apples, with a corn &/or rum-like sweetness. Acidic like cola & well carbonated. More fizzy than anticipated, it's somewhat impressive for near 12%. Still slick, deceptively boozy & with a buttery chardonnay-like finish. It lacks a little bite on the end, it lacks curiosity, but still manages to drink well throughout. This isn't Dupont or Droiun, but it's appropriately different & interesting.
