(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby amber colour with a beige and short foamy head. Oaky vanilla aroma with mildly syrupy dark malt, caramel, and dried fruity notes of figs and raisins. Sweet flavour with a tinge of tartness, full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dark malty and oaky vanilla-laden taste with vinous dried fruity notes, French fruit cake, caramel and a mildly warming whiff of booze towards the lasting and rounded vinous finish. Very pleasant. 19.IV.17

Fläschla (...hygge!):Golden, hazy, medium-sized creamy off-white head that slowly collapses; moderate yeasty-wheaty nose with a slight clovey touch; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour; quite light bodied, but quite soft; slightly lingering wheaty-clovey finish with a yeasty aftertaste. Not the best TMB Bier...

Bottle. Cloudy orange, offwhite cream. Yeasty orangepeel, banana, chalk aroma. Cheesecake, mealy base, good fruitiness. Chewy chalky, bit too high on the phenols for me.

Fläschla: Pale golden, hazy, smaller stable white head; fresh citric-wheaty nose, yeast and cloves hardly detectable; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; fresh citrussy-grapefruity finish with mild, tart wheaty-grainy traces. A goody...

Bottle: Hazy, amber coloured, big - stable and rocky - off-white head; sweet-bitter nose: piney hops balanced by sweet pale malt with a tinge of soy-sauce; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied and soft; lingering sweet malty and piney finish with a tinge of cough-syrup. A tasty brew, not a perfect thirst-quencher yet...

Re-rate from bottle. Dark red amber, lowish offwhite creamy head. Mostly caramel and sugar in the nose this time around, medium to full crackerlike malt base, fruity toffee sweetness well balanced by a nice hop profile, quite drinkable. 7 4 6 3 13 Bottle. Dark clear amber. Honey, light choc aromatics. Medium full mellow body. Herbal aromatics, pine honey, mellow grassy and sweet finish.

Brown with almost no head. Aroma is phneols, chestnut, caramel. Taste is sweet phenolic malt with bitter nut roast flavours. A bit too heavy for drinking, overall still ok.
