Small pour. Appearance: almost clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma: bright, typical lager hops, some flowers, crispy. Taste: along the same lines, flowery, crispy. Finishes with noticeable bitterness. Overall: nice pilsner, not sure how much it is a West Coast, though.

500mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is complex, with lots of whiskey barrels, a touch of peat, and moderate roast. Flavour is dry and strong, with lots of peated whiskey, spicy rye, and medium roast. Peated, dry, roasted and spicy finish. This is excellent.

Creamy and toasty, dark brown, medium body, not much bitterness. But the malt complexity makes it work.

On tap at RidgeWood, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out gentle tequila barrels, light cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. Flavour reveals plenty of chilis upfront, some cinnamon, and almost no tequila. Could use more barrel character, as I don't think I'd detect tequila here if I didn't know. Lingering chili character. Good but not how I'd want this designed.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Hazy auburn brown with small beige head. Sweet caramel, wood, maple syrup, mild bourbon. Fairly sweet, but decent.

16 oz can picked up at Hop and Hound. Very much looking forward to this single hop showcase here. Really juicy hop profile, smooth body with pretty equal parts melon, tropical, and grassy. Cool and low bitter finish. Long lasting cool melon rind hops. Excellent IPA all around, and a standout in the local hazy category.

16 oz can picked up at Hop and Hound. One of those IPAs that I didn't know it was a double until I read the label. Doesn't drink that strong at all. Juicy melon and tropical hop flavors, with a cool finish. Slick body, juicy constant. Flavorful fruit forward hop palate. Minimal hazy burn. Very tasty brew here.

Pale yellow colour, cloudy to murky. Nice aroma, fresh, there's a blend of citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and light weed. Lean mouthfeel, off-dry; delicate base, a bit wheaty and creamy, but not chalky; the hopping is quite fruity, there's sweet oranges, other citrus fruits, it would benefit from some more residual sweetness.
Fresh, very good.
