Cloudy brown. This has more or less your standard banana and chocolate nose. Clean wheaty, yeasty, character with a hint of apple and chocolate.

Quite cloudy, even for a zwickel. Dull tan. Footy nose but with toasty hops. Footy, country/stale horse shit accent is predominant, and lends the beer an interesting character.

Hazy light tan. Cloudy, even head. Very hazy. Lots of banana. Light house accent, not as clean as the regular big brewery variant. Rounded with good malt character.

(7/3/08) Draught at the brewpub in Munich. Dark brown color with a medium pinkish-beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, some caramel and maybe some butterscotch notes. Sweetish and malty flavor at first with some toastiness and a rather dry finish with hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. Not really a Pilsener.

(7/3/08) Draught at the brewpub in Munich. Cloudy orange with a big off-white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma of some banana and some clove notes. Sweet fruity flavor with a bit of banana, light tartness and some spiciness. Light to medium-bodied. A good Weizen.

(7/3/08) Draught at the brewpub in Munich. Hazy orange color with a medium white head. Aroma has some malt, a bit of caramel, earthy notes and light grassy hoppiness. Sweetish and slightly caramelly flavor upfront, continues slightly drier with some mild grassy bitterness. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Draught at the brewpub. The flavour is nicely bready like fresh white bread. Also slightly spicy with a hint of fruit making it quite refreshing. Cloudy orange colour. Big, semi-stable white head.
