Orange color, cloudy. Chalky orange aroma and flavor. Sweetish, medium bodied, grainy. Glue. Hints of cherry and milk. Has some characteristics of a witbier.

Just a bit darker as gold. Strong barnyard aroma, malty. Hay aroma and flavor. Earthy, rye. Just a bit of licorice. Is this a helles? I can hardly believe it. It’s a small bomb with unusual flavors.

Bottle, from Dortmunder. Thanks! Citrus, grape sugar and banana in the aroma. Banana, glue and some citrus in the flavor. Hint of milk. Just a bit of yeasty herbalness. OK.

Bottle from Dortmunder: thanks! Soapy and somewhat flowery aroma with just a touch of hops. Medium to full bodied. Malt, cologne, vanilla. A fair deal of hopbitterness. Boiled milk. Hints of licorice. Disappointing aroma, but the flavor is quite OK. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Zzzisch Edel Pils on 26 Aug 2019 at 12:07 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Original review text: Salt and hay aroma with a hint of licorice. Medium to full bodied. malty and grassy flavor with some licorice. Very un-pilsener like, but a fairly well made and tasty beer.

Blonde indeed. But this beer isn’t blonde, but bland. Vague orange and flour aroma. Malty with some apple and orange, with hints of boiled milk. No hopbitterness whatsoever. Not my kind of beer.

Dark golden color. Light citrus and sweeties aroma. Citric flavor with hints of glue and banana. There is indeed a strong resemblance to the hefe weizen, but this version is lighter and more watery , and th yeasty herbalness is completely gone. Blandish thirst quencher.

Bottle from Dortmunder: thanks very much! Orange, banana and especially yeast both in aroma and flavor. Fairly herbal with hints of caramel. The yeasty character prevails and beats the obvious fruitiness of the beer. Not my favorite.

Nice malty, worty aroma. The flavor is an odd mix of cookie dough and endives. Worty. Unpleasant vegetable aftertaste. Still there are worse nonalcoholic beers.

Orange blonde color. Slight orange and glue and flavor. Some vague hop character in the background. Hint of vegetable. Not really good. Thanks to Pivnizub for the bottle.
