Bottle. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is earthy, chocolate, roast, liquorice. Taste is earthy, chocolate, liquorice again. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok - I am not a huge fan of such strong liquorice flavours in beers.

330 ml. bottle shared on train post ZBF 2018 with SinH4. Dark brown, ugly looking. Nose is no real barrel, roots, roast, liquorice, bark. Taste is BE dark fruits, roast, could be bit thicker, low alcohol, grainy, roots, sugar, Be fruits. Fair classical BE styled beer, not much difference between the version & didn’t get any real BA here.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled @ ZBF 2018. Dark brown amber, more head than the base beer served next to it. Nose is dark fruit, cardamom, liquorice, hay. BE dark fruits, low cough syrup, bread, candy, BE dark fruits, liquorice & sugar. Touch better bodied than the regular one but not getting much in the way of Congac to be honest.

Thank you for sharing RB People! Sampled @ ZBF 2018. Dark brown, cough syrup, little head. Nose is BE dark fruits, berries, oak, liquorice, cough syrup. Lacks some body touch fizzy with cough syrup, sugar, dark fruits, stale chocolate. Fair, very classical BE dark beer, aptly made with the style.
