Nose is chocolate, dark malts, dried red berries, caramel.
Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, mellow roast, caramel, spice, lick of booze.
Full bodied, oily feel, balanced rising boost.
Okay sipper if no wow.

Sample at Derive during the "Derive Turns Five: 5th Anniversary Celebration" on 09/13/2025. Cloudy banana yellow color with a medium thick frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings lace. Herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of herbal hop, tropical and citrus fruit and caramel malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hop aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Can pour from brewer at Fidens brewery after tap share, 2025. Cloudy orange/pink with no head, no sparkle, no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet strawberry, earthy tart fruit. Taste follows aroma w/green vegetal contributions. Smooth texture, thin body, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A Berliner I can get behind!

16 oz can shared by tfontana. Color is a muddy orange. Aroma is nice tart rhubarb. Bold strawberry. The flavor follows with maybe a little bit of lemon and or citric acid. Strawberry is here is very mild tones. It reminds me of Linda’s, strawberry rhubarb pie.

Watermelon with tart juice and sea salt. Rich, fruity and juicy.
Tart, with mineral, lemon and tea. Lots of black pepper. A bit weird but also a bit nice, at points.
