Pour is a clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is lightly toasted grain and the flavor follow that as well with a lite toasted note. Serviceable but also a bit bland.

Pint at St. Louis Brewmasters, St. Louis airport. Clear, pale, bright yellow, light sparkle, ring of head and trace lacing. Aroma is strong floral/herbal over base malt. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Good strength of aroma and flavor—jasmine really comes through. Much preferable to 4 hands Single Speed sampled an hour ago.

Pour is a cloudy amber with a large white head. Aroma is toasted malt and caramel sweetness. Flavor is pretty much the same some toasted caramel malt with a little tootsie roll sweetness on the back end. Decent malty beverage.

Brewery draught, 2/15/24. Clear dark mahogany. Small, dark beige head at cover. Rich caramel, toast, light mineral. Clean. Malty, rich, with heavy caramel, light toast and good maltiness and dryness overall. Wood contributing more dryness via aging? That's about it, I think. I appreciate the relative dryness. Not your father's root beer, I mean doppelbock.

Brewery draught, 2/15/24. I must say, I absolutely love that this is served in a wine glass. Moderately hazy, deep bronze-brass. Slice of white foam atop. Pineapple, punchy melon, lemon, hard grapefruit and pine. Oh no, it's one of these trying not to be a NEIPA IPAs. Crusty, crackery, almost toasted malt. Sparse comfort. Crisis averted in flavor, though. The punchy melon, sweat and pine is there but not in force and the soft textures soak it up pretty well. I do like the extra bitterness too. Juicy citrus, grapefruit rind, sweaty hop and almost resin. Super, super soft, dextrinous-like texture.

Brewery draught, 2/15/24. Clear bronze, small, off-white head, modest retention. Nice Brett right off the bat. Lime, light hickory skin, probably the buckwheat softening things and yet adding spice. Light lactic with yogurt and citrus rinds. Pretty well-aged, it seems. Big oak up front with light toast, a touch popcorny at times, with moderate lactic acidity but not as much Brett as the nose may have suggested. Excellent texture, very soft and malty with good attenuation and tight carbonation. Clean. I suspect the foeders are just very new and thus the toastier-than-ususl character which should soften with more batches. Very respectable nonetheless.

Brewery draught, 2/15/24. Clear amber-honey. Small, white head quickly to cover. Bit of fruitiness from specialty malt, mixing with a bit of flour and light wood tannin. Doesn't give a strong base malt impression. Toast, fruit, herbal hops with freshly cut grass. On the thin side, but not horribly so. Bit of woodiness in there and it's very clean and bright. Just hoping for a bit more malt depth.
