Nice little wheat ale, full of citrus and yeast, offering up strong grapefruit, peach, and orange zest notes, with a slightly tart white bread backbone and a gentle grainy sweetness. Easy drinking, a good break from a slew of IPAs on beer night.

Pour is a black with a large foamy mocha tan head. Aroma is a nice char and bakers chocolate. Flavor is tons of char malt and bitter bakers chocolate. Finish is smooth with lots of charred malt left on the tongue. Good porter and my can says this it 6.6 abv.

On tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with thin cap of light brown head with no discernible sparkle, light leggy lacing. Aroma is roasted malt bordering on char. Taste is as aroma with late earth and with a hint of dark chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with creamy smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a quality standard stout.

On tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, thin ring of light brown head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, light char. Taste is primarily strong roasted malt but with a slight dark chocolate/char. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, straightforward and pretty one dimensional but strong.

Half-pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is cloudy yellow with no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with no lacing. Aroma is juicy and mild weedy herb. Taste is tropical fruit and orange citrus with scalliony herb. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, a nice, strong mix of fruit and herb.

Half-pour on tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, thin cap of white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong fruit and malt backbone. Taste is strong stone fruit, milder herb and rye malt backbone; lightly yeasty. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent aroma but the flavor is very nice.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is lager malt and some yeast ester. Flavor is more lager malt a little peppery spice comes out of nowhere and the finish is clean. It's an ok lager with a little something out of the ordinary going on here.

Pour is a golden with a large white head. Aroma is a pretty good wet dough malt with some spicy hops. Flavor is more white bread dry malt and again has a spicier than should be hop finish. A nice dry and crisp pils with some odd hops used.

Pour is a hazy amber with a very small white head. Aroma is some honeydew melon hops and a bit of caramel malt. Flavor is a whole lot of neutral grain malt with very little hop. If you are going to make a 9.5% impy IPA these days you better over hop the hell out of it. This beer did not do that. Also put a date on the can, this could be 12 months past its prime for all I know. Poor at best.

Taster pour on tap at Tapped, Maplewood. Appearance is clear pale yellow--sort of urine-like--with no sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with fair retention, no lacing. Aroma is very strong, yummy herbal, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is as aroma with herbal, little bit of grapefruit, tiny bit of citrus, maybe tropical fruity. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation, and really strong finish as taste with herbal, grapefruit, citrus. Overall, this is very good.
