Consumed as a tribute to my departed grandfather. Amber, hazy. Very toasty English hop aroma. Herbal, a little bit woody, dry. A bit bland in the bitterness and the malt character is insufficiently developed.

Slightly hazy with a thin head. The aroma is bland, English. Sweetish with fuggley notes and light caramel. Sticky finish, but does show a hint of dryness. There are structural issues - the bitterness is from some German hop and it gets vegetal. The aroma hops are probably Fuggles and they aren’t really conducive to an IPA.

Hazy orangey-brown with a white head. The aroma is malt-accented with light pumpkin and vague spice. This has an especially gourdy character - no real spice to it. The body is ok but the malt character is somewhat thin. Gourdy finish. Unique - pumpkin ale with no spice, but it’s not terribly effective for me.

Hazy, blond. Slight fruity aroma - almost like lemonade. Unique hop - very fresh and limey. Lean body. Unique character.

Bottled at PBF. Mahogany colour, minimal head. Ashy smokey nose. Gentle rounded mouthfeel. Smokey, but rather carefully so. Presents malty smoke flavour pretty well. Low bitterness.

Bottled at PBF. Clear amber, small head. Butterscotch aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Thick and heavily butterscotchy. More of an evil caricature of the Czech tmavýs than anything else.
