Can, I don't think I see a date, but I think this is early 2025. Drunk 8/6/25.
Dark, possibly clear? Little/no head.
Smells great! Rich malt with fudge and raisin, lots of vanilla from the barrel with a woody dryness and a fruity port, perhaps. Amazing how well-homogenized the adjuncts are. It's not even completely clear there are any here. No booze, not sugary.
Cinnamon and rich barrel. VERY spicy bourbon and the habanero accents it on the finish leaving lingering capsaicin. Not usually a fan of putting habanero in a beer, especially one you've worked so hard and long on like this. But whatever, I love it, even if it does distract somewhat. Maple and brown sugar tones with chocolate and mild cinnamon lingering. Pretty incredible for its age. Not boozey, not even syrupy. No excess sugar. Well, I don't know who these guys are but this is excellent and I'd buy more. Port does build up a bunch on the finish, adding lots of sweet grape. But the habanero keeps it at bay.

8 ounce can from Tavour. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. Bubbly brown head resembles swamp gas bubbles. Aroma of dark roasted malt, cold brew espresso and rich black earth. Wow! Intense and decadent. Strong espresso, Maple, vanilla, brandy, dark chocolate, chilis, cinnamon and black currants. I know, that seems like a lot, but it’s all there. Now I know why this comes in an 8 ounce can! Thick and viscous on the palate. This one requires patience and should be sipped slowly.

16 oz can from Half Time, 12/9/24. (2024 Version) Hazy yellow, foamy white head, moderate-to-heavy lace. Grainy, pineapple, orange, stone fruit, and melon. Somewhat juicy, and a little sweet. Pretty tasty overall. 8/4/8/4/16

That's a lot of apple brandy notes, rye notes, thick barrel flavor. I dig it. And I still love these little cans.

8 oz. can. Aroma is rye whiskey, soft apple brandy, and some charred oak. Apple brandy and whiskey show itself here throughout the sip with mild vanilla and mild char. Slick viscosity over the mouth. Bold bitch right here. Don’t get me wrong it’s rich and slightly boozy but … oh so good! Top tier.

8 oz can. Aroma, soft, vanilla, graham crackers, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with the marshmallow and vanilla, but also has a bitter dark chocolate finish. Crazy enough somehow this is balanced by said bitterness. Wonderful, slick, oily texture with a full thick body. It’s delicious.

Maple in this is carried by the rest of the adjuncts, the coconut and chocolate are nice. It's medium light bodied but not shy on the flavor. Just seems like artificial maple or it doesn't blend well with the other flavors.

I dont drink enough stouts anymore at home 😢. This is a damn good cognac forward chocolatey vanilla cake. Lots of barrel upfront, thick sticky sweet notes, hints of chicory and tobacco to round it out.
