Part of a taster of everything on offer at the time at the brewery. Dominate aroma and flavor of juicy banana. Mouthfeel was thin for a wheat beer.

Poured up on tap at AZ Strong Beer Fest 2016 where it exhibits a nice dark totally opaque murky dirty copper body that supports an off white head of foam that leaves behind some thin sheet lacing. The aroma offers up smooth and inviting banana ringed thinly by some spicy clove and kind of a sweet oak woody like sensation going on in the background. The taste is smooth and certainly ventures out into creamy territory every now and then. I get semi sweet yet nourishing banana, that’s spot on. and flowing into cloves softened up by a mild yeastiness that gives this almost a chewy sensation. Just a solid rewarding Hefe. I would drink far more Hefe’s if they were this good.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a crystal clear copper body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up malts, some pine hops and a bit of citrus. The taste delivers some malts, pine hops, some grapefruit like citrus hops and then a bit more mild maltiness. This has nice bitter hoppiness and malty body for support. This is drinking good.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a dark body that supports a thin dark tan head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, some chocolate and then faint smokiness. The taste delivers dark roasted malts, a sliver of burnt malts, a nice layer of chocolate and then there’s a modest smooth smokiness floating above the whole experience. It picks up more chocolate into the finish. This is solid with plenty of dark roastiness and chocolate and then just a bit of smoke. Good stuff. I’ll do this one again anytime.
