8 July 2020. Random Wednesday Tasting; cheers to Anke & Tim! Hazy red, unstable, frothy, pinkish head. Aroma of redcurrant, raspberry, unripe strawberry, lemon, sourdough, red jam. Taste has sour redcurrant, raspberry, unripe blood orange, sweet jam, a bit lemony, doughy malty feel. Tart, red fruity finish, low hoppiness, vague bitter blood orange in the back. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Tasty but could have been more pronounced.

8 July 2020. Random Wednesday Tasting; cheers to Anke & Tim! Hazy black, very thin, foamy, tan head. Aroma of mandarin jam, dried mandarin peel, fondant, chocolate powder, chewing tobacco (pruimentabak), prune, beef jerky, smoked sausage, Jaffa cake. Taste has sweet prune, jam, Jaffa cake, lots of sweet mandarin throughout, sourish brambleberry underneath, turning bitter, powdery, hints of chocolate & tobacco with a soft gravy-like umami edge. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, dried fruit & jam lingering, sweet tobacco & well hidden brandy alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Really good effort, flavoured but not quite 'Pastry', could have done with some more body.

8 July 2020. Random Wednesday Tasting; cheers to Anke & Tim! Hazy yellow with a huge, frothy, white head. Aroma of yellow nectarine, peach, unripe mandarin, sourdough, lemongrass, passionfruit. Taste has sour unripe mandarin, passionfruit & sweetish peach & pineapple, lemony-wheaty edge over a sourdough-like, bready maltiness. Tart, yellow fruity finish, tropical yet acidic. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Very fresh & refreshing, well done.

330 ml. can. Amazing colour pure raspberry puree, non-lasting darker pink head. Nose is all raspberry puree, raspberry pits, sweeter rhubarb & dash of lemon sour. Bit too sharp tasting with bit to much leaves but nice heavy raspberry more fermented with fermented rhubarb & spoiled lemon, bit odd in taste but overall quite fun.

375 ml. bottle split with two – purchased at brewery. Bright lemon, zesty, vague lemonade, actually more than basic kettle sour profile, refreshing not quite funk but some complexity, very bright zest & lovely elderflower, lots of flowers in the finish, my favorite sour from these guys so far.

330 ml. can. Quite fruity, white grape, pretty bitter in the back with white grape, weeds, pepper, green hops & low yoghurt yeast, quite nice.

500 ml. draft @ brewery. Little in the way of kimchi or rather no kimchi whatsoever, massive juicy refreshing cucumber with basic kettle sour underneath, very refreshing, no salt of mineral just very good cucumber & basic kettle sour, still very nice.

330 ml. can purchaes at the brewery. Very dark brown going to a shade of black. Smells like sweet black bread with coffee and cream, chocolate big time. Taste is all sugar, cream, sweet coffee with a nice touch of espresso and black bread, thick very creamy body, sugar. I mean this is just spot and excellent really.
