Description
It is a small family beekeeping farm, founded in 2002, located in Olomouc - Neredin. Our hives are largely located in the wooded landscape of the Low Jeseník. This area is also suitable for bee colonies because it is relatively ecologically clean. It is not burdened by intensive industrial and agricultural production. Meadows, pastures and forests predominate here. While we have beekeeping facilities in the hills, we sell honey and other bee products from the yard at the Olomouc address. With our honey, we also go to events such as Christmas markets in Olomouc, fairs, etc.
Since the beginning of our beekeeping, we have been trying to focus on the quality of our main product - honey. I emphasize the word "quality", because there is a big difference between honey and "honey". It turns out that the intention was right. People appreciate good honey, they pass on information and the interest in our honey is growing. We offer a pure natural product, without any additives, honey such as the bees brought it. We offer honey, which we have treated as gently as possible, in order to preserve all biologically active substances valuable for our health.
We strive to obtain generic honeys, i.e. honeys in which the smell of a certain plant predominates, so that the offer is varied for consumers, so that they eat honey of different flavors and aromas and have at their disposal the honey they have liked.

Pours a darkened garnet/copper . Scent is intense, very jam-like intense fruityness of the black currant. super aromatic. mild herbal spicyness underneath. Honey is very mild but not absent. Taste is full, super intense, sweet, nutty (?) not sure if opened to long (this is a sample flask filled a while ago) and it's nutty oxidative notes, but it resembles far more simple nuttyness than I know from the likes of Sherry, Vin Jaune, Madeiera,... this tastes like added walnuts if anything. love that ! intense ending. honey isn't lost at all. Very powerfull mead. Lovely !

Pours clear, very light pale lemon. Scent is somewhat reminding of elderflower ( said to be very different to the berries, but I know the flowers better and do recognize a similar aroma). pretty balanced tough, it does hide the honey a bit, but doesn't appear to be to intense, keeping the overall experience fresh. Taste is full, semi-sweet to sweet, medium intense elderberry (flower-like, but less herbal) aroma. It does seem to work with the mead. Not bad at all - coming from someone who does'nt even like elderberry (or elderflower).

Pours a clear, medium colored gold / yellow. Scent is fairly weak. Sharp, almost herbal character. Definately not a very intense honey expression I expected. Taste is bit oily (MF), nice honey profile . Fairly low intensity (compared to others) but certainly not tasteless. Floral, bit bitter even, herbal qualities. Very decent mead, perhaps not overly unique or interesting though.

Pours a very clear and pale lemon. Scent is milder, bit funky honey, much more closed than the frizzante version. Taste is very full, oily, medium sweet to sweet mead. Bit simple, showcasing a not overly special honey, but easely drinkable, enjoyable mead nevertheless.

Pours a clear, medium light pale gold. Scent is very pot-pourri like citrus, lemongrass, unripe lime. Taste is full on herbal indeed. Not saying over the top, but definately above my enjoyment level. tad bitter. honey is a bit lost to me. Medium body. Medium sweet. OK at best to me, but free of flaws or other quality concerns.

Pours a very light pale lemon. Scent is funky, shapr, raw honey. Bit floral, but very basic, and not overly intense-style. Earthy, almost. Taste is pleasant, as an semi-sweet to sweet mead, not a huge amount of intensity, but a nice drinker. Some acidic-like qualities due to the extra carbonation, which I won't take to much in concideration as this is a sample bottle, so it probably lost some of it's intensity by filling it in flasks. I get just a little, but it lifts the mead up, and makes it more interesting for sure. Surprisingly easy drinker . Nice !
