Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty grapefruit, citrus, pine, resin and yeast. Taste is warming, smooth and juicy with some yeastiness, zesty fruits and toffee. Finish is warming, a bit boozy and juicy with some tropical fruits and yeast. A bit unbalanced, but quite nice still.

Tap at HBF 2015, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, minerals, hops and malts. Pretty simple.

Tap @HBF15. Clear golden, thin white head. Grapefruit, gooseberries in aroma, very hoppy. Flavor has gooseberries, grapefruit, stunning bitterness. Tasty stuff.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy yellow color, small white head. Citrus, mango hoppy aroma, maybe there is banana? Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Banana, alcohol, white pepper. Kind of strong saison ... even it is an ipa! Weird.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20150403) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had tangerine, fruitiness and citricness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts, booze and bitterness. Aftertaste was boozy and bitter. The ABV was pushing through heavily towards the finish.

Taste is smooth, sweetish and malty with some floral hoppiness, slightly harsh herbal bitterness, grass, pine and resin. Finish is hoppy, bitter and caramely with some hints of herbal notes. Pretty clean and balanced malty IPA.

Draught @ Brewpub. Pours dark brown, thick espresso head. Some aniseed, roastedness and chocolate in aroma. Flavor has anise, roasted malt, milk chocolate. Quite spicy actually. Feels a bit thin perhaps. Finish has cocoa dryness, slight ashy tones.

Tap@ Brewpub. Pours cloudy amber, thick white head. Hay, seasony yeasty aroma, some water melon. Flavor has sweet fruits, yeast, smoked ham, grapefruity bitterness. The smoky notes is quite pleasant here. No sign of the 8% here, just enough sweetness. Great stuff. Really biting finish.

Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma is sweet but mellow with cocoa and some tobacco. Smooth palate, low on CO2 Flavour has fruity hops, some ash, tobacco and hints of chocolate. Finishes with lingering hops. A bit too ashy and messy, the hops do not quite fit in. Close to a black IPA.
