Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma has strong grassy tones and funky yeast. Also some citrus and fruity hops. Flavour has strong citrus, fruity hops, funky yeast and non-disturbing alcohol. Finishes with lingering hops and alcohol. Strong and rich. Could not locate the smoke at first. But right after I wrote that I noticed it in the background.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20150305) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had pine, resin and liquorice. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, fruitiness, burnt malts, liquorice, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, burnt and bitter. As a surprise to me this beer was pleasing despite the strong burntness in the taste. Well done.

Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, ripe fruits, grassy hops, hints of funky yeastiness. Taste is roasty, hoppy and bitter with some licorice, grass, ripe fruits and mild hints of earthy farmyard notes. Finish is roasty, hoppy and bitter with some hints of grass and ripe fruits. A bitter and roasty black IPA with a touch of Belgian notes. Nice.

Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma has licorice, piney tones and grapefruit. Flavour has strong ash tones, salty licorice, grapefruit, some tobacco and deep roastiness. The farmhouse aromas are more mellow than in the Lumiére version, but I can observe them in the finish. A farmhouse black IPA - haven´t seen many of these. Aroma was typical to BIPA but flavour is more on the stout side. Hops are definitely present on both sides though.

Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma has toffee, nuts and bready malt. Flavour has gooseberries, bready malt, toffee and English hops. Fizzy and foamy palate. A bit more aggressive than Enlish ESBs usually.

Aroma has lots of lemon, some minerals and soapy tones. Flavour has strong citrus notes, soapiness, minerals, grapefruit and gooseberry bush leaves. Also funky tones typical to saisons and some bretta vibes as well. Finishes with lingering hops. Alcohol is very well hidden. Lemon is strong with this one; not an American DIPA, more like a farmhouse one.

Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of fruits, floral hops, grass, citrus, pine and caramely malts. Taste is hoppy, bitter and sweetish with some floral notes, grass, pine, citrus and fruits. Finish is crisp, perhaps even harshly bitter and hoppy with some floral notes, citrus and grass. Bitter, but not very juicy IPA. Quite good and tasty still. --- Beer merged from original tick of Change the Tune on 06 Feb 2015 at 20:33 - Score: 8

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20150205) The beer poured golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, grapefruit and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tangerine, grapefruit, freshly cut grass, some creamy toffee and quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Even though this beer had a lot of hops the end result was well balanced.
