Originally rated on 22.10.2014. Draught @ Brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a smooth head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits, floral notes, grass, spices and citrus. Taste is smooth, ripe fruity and yeasty with some floral notes, grass, citrus and spices. Finish is spicy, crisp and slightly bitter with some floral notes, grass and citrus. Pretty good US style saison.

Tap at brewpub. Slightly hazy orange color, steady off-white head. Aroma has citrus, gooseberry bush and marmalade. Light-bodied. Gooseberry bush, sweetish tropical fruits. Lingering fruity-hoppy. Quite typical Bruuveri Pa, perhaps a bit sweetier than the most.

On tap @ Panimoravintola Bruuveri, Helsinki. Unclear yellow/orange with a fine white head. Even if this is the unspiced version the aroma has a distinct spicy yeast, farmhouse stamp with citric fruit as well. Flavor is light pale malt, spicy yeast, pepper, citric fruit and grapefruit, decent bitterness for a Saison. Fine and balanced both in flavors and body with a pleasant aftertaste. A bit rustic funkiness, a superb Saison on my book. Extremely moorish.

Draught@Bruuveri (backlog). Hazy orange colour with some floaties. Aroma is sweet malts, a bit mashlike, with some floral and pine notes to it as well. Flavour is very sweet mash like grains with fruity and alcoholic notes. I had a strange feeling drinking this, that it was still kind of in fermentation...

Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki (backlog). Hazy yellow colour with a small but longlasting white head. Aroma is fruits, spices, some citrus, wheat and mild floral notes. Flavour is very similar, but has a nice bitter finish to it. Pleasant and refreshing brew, which would be very nice out on a warm terrace.

Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki. (backlog). Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is nice fruity and nectary notes with some mild biscuity maltiness to it. Flavour is floral and fruity bitterness along with a quite crisp maltiness to it. Balanced and tasty. Surprisingly flavourfilled for being 4.1 ABV.

Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toffee, roasted malts, liquorice and some chocolate. Flavour is very similar with a mellow, but supportive hopping to go with it. Very nice brew.

Draught@Bruuveri, Helsinki. (backlog). Slightly hazy pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is big time honey, citrus and mild floral and grassy ntoes. Flavour is honey, alcohol and sweet citrus. Quite hoppy big bitterness to it as well. Different, and actually rather brutal in a way.

Tap at Bruuveri. Mostly clear golden color, small white head. Apple fruity, a bit spicey flavor. Light-bodied. Apple, coriander-like spices, pepper. Easy fruity wit with lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20141104) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had spices, fruitiness and yest. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, Belgian style yeast, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was yeasty, malty and bitter. Too herbal for my taste.
