Tap at Brewpub Bruuveri, Helsinki. Colour is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, spices, Belgian yeast, anise, perfume and malts. Anise makes this one little bit of tacky and reminds me of lipsticks. Nice palate. Not very drinkable because of strong spiciness but at least this one is not easy. #3 < #1 < #2.

Aroma is musty and somewhat leathery with ripe fruits, funky yeasty tones and distant spicy tones. Also some apricot. Flavour has ripe fruits, funky yeasty tones. Finishes with some mellow spiciness and grassy hops. Alcohol is present, but does not disturb. While #1 and #2 were quite similar, this differs a bit with stronger spiciness. Too much spices actually, I liked the previous ones more.

Draught @ Bruuveri. Aroma has funky yeastyness, fruity tones and some grapefruit. Also distant grassy tones. Foamy palate. Flavour has grapefruit, funky yeastyness, somewhat strong grassy hops. Finishes with some herbal bitterness. Very close to the #1, perhaps aromas and flavours are a bit stronger but I really cannot tell the difference. Alcohol is a bit more strong here too.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20141029) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had Belgian style yeast, something resembling metal, spiciness and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, Belgian style yeast, spiciness, farmhouse, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had yeast, farmhouse and bitterness. Here the yeast was way more forward than in the previous one. In my opinion this was more a Belgian ale than a saison.

(Keg at Bruuveri, 20141021) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, yeast and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, spiciness, yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, spicy and bitter. A very nice saison. Well done balance of hops and spiciness.

Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A good light and hoppy ale.

Tap at Bruuveri. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Light grainy-fruity aroma. Light-bodied, but decent palate for this ABV. Grapefruity hoppyness, nice bitterness. Of course a bit watery but quite nice session brew.
