Description
Built out of an old dairy facility and originally situated next to a laundromat, Pulpit Rock Brewing opened its bay doors during the summer of '15. Founded by four Luther alumni, fueled by two head-brewers and driven by a small taproom team, this modest brewery embraces the opportunity to produce and serve exciting and innovative beers.
With a rotating tap list that balances classic styles, unabashed hop-enthusiasm and adventurous flavor-infusions, we aim to provide our guests with a spectrum of tastes and experiences.

Aromas are blackberries, blueberries, malt and vanilla. Flavors are similar to nose, moderately tart with just a hint of fruit sweet. Decent body and carbonation. Finish is bittersweet.

8 oz can, pours jet black with a tiny dark brown head. Aroma is extremely rich, with deep roasted malt, huge dark sugars, molasses, and bourbon barrels low on the residual sugars. Flavour is complex and rich, with a decadent bourbon barrel character upfront, backed with medium roasted malt, dark sugars, molasses, some vanillin, and a touch of caramel. Wonderful malts at the base, elevated beautifully by the bourbon barrels. Fantastic stuff.

Can thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is biscuit and floral. Medium body, grass, biscuit, crisp finish, very good.

2024 vintage. On tap at Pulpit Rock, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of intense toasted pecans, a little coconut, and dark sugars. Flavour is rich, with intense roasted pecans upfront, followed by oodles of coconut, and light roast. Wonderful incorporation of the pecans and coconut. Awesome non-BA pastry.
