Description
In the Wild East, you have to work together. Therefore three friends joined forces and started to brew beer in the old smithery of Purtse castle. Their holy desire was to make beer so good that you would become sad when the glass started to empty.

The men of Purtse do not hold annual press conferences in Narva, nor do they give empty promises about improving everyday life of Ida-Virumaa. They are doing it here and now, because they like it wild in here.

Ziemlich salziger Beginn mit Tomate, Gemüse. Moderat würzig, süffig, blechern zum Ende. Interessant! 10/10/8/9//8

33cl bottle at the pub at M/S Baltic Princess. Pours a bit strange orange, slightly hazy and not much head to speak of. Weird vegetal aroma with tomatoes, celery and salt. Strange, but still somehow refreshing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Plaadimeri on 19 Sep 2018 at 23:58 - Score: 6

330ml bottle from Uba ja Humal. Pours creamy yellow, some white foam on top. Sweet nose, still some malt character down there, a bit raw but fruity feel over it, just made bread dough. Bit of rose water? Taste has light acidity (does it hint that it will go off when it starts to age?), smooth and smashable, medium bitterness and somewhat rough malty base. Finish has quite steady lingering hop bitterness, not really well balanced though.

33cl bottle from Rimi Supermarket, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a fairly modest, white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with mild citrusy notes, tropical fruits and hints of herbs and malt. Moderate sweet with fairly mild, but quite pleasant fruity and hoppy flavours and ditto bitterness. Easy to drink and quite refreshing and enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kolmekas - Citra, Mosaic, Ekuanot on 16 Aug 2018 at 20:46 - Score: 7

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden with whiteish head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus, grapefruit, tangerines, dryness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, dry, grapefruit, some onion, oranges. Finish is dry-grapefruit, and starchy. Overall: ok, but probably my least favorite (despite using some of my favorite hops).
